Enveloping presence, always present,
yet invisible.
I must open my eyes, mind, and heart.
Without all three,
I cannot feel
the divine magic of presence.
The massive round boulder on which I perch
penetrates coolness upwards.
The rush of the mountain stream cascades down
with its thunderous, yet somehow reassuring sound.
A reminder that the movement of water is life itself.
Its force sweeps a cool caressing breeze upward.
Light through the trees, the shadows of life on the page:
flight, a humming bird tasting sweet nectar
insects dancing
a pine branch, featherlike
I breathe in and smell all that I see.
Pines, water, blossoms, moss, earth, life.
Beauty, ever changing,
therefore infinite in its treasures to be found.
Divinity to touch, see, taste, hear, and smell.
Surrounded by infinite love and light.
When it pours into our beings,
we become one.
